The Get Fit Committee at the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department consists of Dietitians, Health Educators and other Health Care Professionals committed to empower area residents to make healthy lifestyle choices on a community level. The committee has been working closely with City of Toledo "Get Fit" members to develop strategies, which will help impact the health of Toledo and Lucas County residents. One of our most successful initiatives is the GOLD Plate Award, which acknowledges restaurants who provide healthy dining options.
