Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Board of Supervisors, One Thirty West Dudley Street Ste. A, Maumee, Ohio, until 9:00 o’clock A.M. EDST time on the 27th day of March, 2018 for the 2018 real property farm lease for Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area located in Lucas and Fulton counties, Ohio.

Board of Supervisors Monthly Meeting Dates:

Lucas SWCD board meetings for 2018 will be held at the district office, 130A W Dudley St, Maumee, Ohio, at 9 AM on the 4th Tuesday of each month with the exceptions of the August meeting, which will be held on August 28 at 5 PM at Blue Creek Conservation Area, 7700 Schadel Rd, Whitehouse, Ohio, and December 18 for holiday scheduling. January 23, February 27, March 27, April 24, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27, December 18.

Animal Waste Compost Facility:

The Blue Creek Compost Facility is open and accepting vegetarian animal waste: horse, chicken, rabbit manure, etc. by appointments focusing on Wednesday. Call 419-893-1966 for an appointment or more information. Cost to dump is $5 per cubic yard. A level pick up truck bed is two cubic yards.
